Take two. It's going to be a strip each comic. So, Fly Or Fail? And if it's a fail, advice?

Fail.

For one, the panels are far too big. Having all six of these guys in every comic would be troublesome on its own actually. Perhaps feature only a few of them in one comic at a time. Also, that explosion effect does NOT match the 8-bit theme...

I don't know who any of those guys are, so introduce them one or two at a time before anything. That should amount to 3-6 intro strips.

Try not to just throw in too much stupid humor. I love stupid humor, but not alot of people do. Think jokes over, and make sure the punchline makes a few people smirk instead of just rolling their eyes.

The facial expressions, or rather just the eyes are kind of out of sync. This is an issue with having all six of em in one strip.

Strip comics rarely have a well-structured plot, this is true. However, try to add a LITTLE continuity. A great example is Neko the kitty. However, that comic went from simple strips, to full blown colored strips with a random plot.

@Tex: Good Idea. But I don't want to spam Fly or Fail, so I'll start the intros and make a quick banner and such.

Fail still looks like crap

you should make the panels smaller, use less complicated effects, and do some intros to give the characters personality. if you can do all this, and the jokes are good, then it's a fly.
